June 2025. Faced with the inaction of those in power against climate change, Mathias, his sister Éloïse, and their friends form the Phœnix group. Their bold plan: to kidnap the children of Europe’s biggest polluters in order to force their parents, leaders of oil, chemical, and financial corporations, to take real ecological action. As an unprecedented heatwave grips France, the Phœnix hide out in an abandoned summer camp. Between fear, solidarity, doubt, and life in hiding, they soon confront the limits of their commitment. But a devastating wildfire, the direct result of the drought, will put their convictions, and their future, to the ultimate test.
